This is the first book I have reviewed that made me think, "I wish I had written this."

This is a carefully and skillfully written text for first year classes for refrigeration service technicians. It starts with a good explanation of basic hand tools and works its way up through every phase of refrigeration service work. The writing style is clear and easy to follow. It is great at explaining basic principles and concepts. Explanations go carefully step by step. I thought the illustrations were the best I have seen in the many books I've reviewed.

I find this the very best beginning refrigeration book I have seen so far. If you teach a beginning service tech class, or if you are looking for a book to teach yourself the basics of refrigeration, be sure to look at this one.
